Patients undergoing treatment may not be able to gather with friends and family to celebrate and have fun on their birthdays. Upon the diagnosis of their child’s illness, caregivers become absorbed in the day-to-day care arrangement for their child and often neglect self care. Treat Train brings on a range of surprise treats for children after they have completed an activity worksheet. It creates a platform for learning as well as providing an avenue for children to make choices in a hospital setting where they are faced with limited options. Sales of Charity Red Packets

What About?
During Chinese New Year season, Just Education would design their own red packets with meaningful phrases to be given to their customers (limit to 2 packets per customer). As such, they would like to encourage their customers to purchase more of these red packets for charity purpose. CCF donation boxes will be placed at all 19 tuition centres. VJC will be organising Run for Smiles 2012 at East Cost park. A registration fee of $18 (individual or $15/person for bulk registration) will be collected from each participant. Charity Car Wash

What About?
The co-organisers; Hunks Incorporation Network Pte Ltd and Siglap Youth Executive Club will be organizing a Charity Car Wash. There will be a charge of $10 per car wash and a donation of their free will. Guest of Honor, Dr Maliki Osman, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Singapore Ministry of National Development and Ministry for Defence and MP for East Coast GRC will grace the event and join in to help wash the cars on 4th Feb, 10am. There will be booths selling second hand books and toys and invited merchants are also selling their own merchandise. In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, Children's Cancer Foundation is holding a one-day symposium themed "Stronger Than Yesterday: Quality of Life and Cancer Survivorship."
Programme highlights include keynote speech by Dr Brad Zebrack (Associate Professor, University of Michigan), hands-on expressive therapy workshops (play therapy, art therapy and dance therapy) and interactive panel discussions.

Time for a Caring Chat (TCC) is an informal support group-cum-sharing session conducted especially for caregivers of children with cancer. As part of the Caregivers’ Support Programme, TCC serves as a platform for caregivers with common experience to gain mutual support, learn from one another as well as to rest and relax.
