Hair for Hope 2007
[1] [2]
This year’s hair shaving event
took place on 1 July 2007 at Velocity@NovenaSquare.
467 brave volunteer-shavees from 7 months to 65-years-old
took up the challenge to part with their locks
in support of children with cancer, and that includes
103 female participants! Some heartwarming moments
that we saw included a female shavee who had breast
cancer, and was scheduled to receive chemotherapy
treatment the very next day. Being visually handicapped
was also no barrier to the 3 brave men from the
Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped,
who supported this meaningful cause.
We want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our venue sponsor- Velocity@NovenaSquare for supporting our Hair for Hope event and KIMAGE for the wonderful stylists! |
