Event Day

1. Do I have to wait a whole day at the venue on the actual shaving day?

Each person will be given a time slot of when to arrive at the venue. Upon registration, we will endeavor to get you shaven within the next 2 hours.

2. What time do we need to be at the event venue (Velocity @ Novena Square) before our shaving session and what happens if we are late?

All registered participants need to be at the venue at least 20 minutes before your allocated time slot. This is to facilitate the registration process. If you are late, you will be placed on the next available time slot.

3. How long does the actual shaving take?

Depending on the length of your hair, the actual shaving should not take more than 10 minutes.

4. What do I need to bring for the actual shaving day?

Bring your head, some guts, and plenty of friends!

5. Do you provide lockers or a holding area for belongings during the shave?

Unfortunately we will not be able to take care of participants' belongings during the event, however, get all your family and friends along and have them to support you while ensuring the safety of your belongings.

6. Do you provide caps or a change of clothes after the shave?

Prior to the shaving event, all registered participants will be given a tee-shirt. Walk in participants may also be provided with an event tee-shirt subjected to available sizes. Participants would need to wear the event tee shirts before the actual shaving takes place.

7. Can I shave on my own time and still show support for the Hair for Hope event?

Yes, although we do encourage you to come to the event.

8. What else can we do at the event besides shaving?

You can show your support to the other shavees, find out more about CCF via the exhibition booths and public education materials, make donations, bring home some nice balloon sculptures and enjoy the programmes and activities.
