Inception

The idea for Hair for Hope first came about from a group of volunteers with Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF).

Understanding the ordeals that children with cancer are subjected to, 9 volunteers decided to shave their heads as a symbolic gesture to help create awareness for children’s cancer in conjunction with the annual CCF fund-raising event, Tulip Hearts Day 2003.

With kind support from Lush Hair Creation's hair stylists, the volunteers had their crown shaven and polished to shine.
