Recruitment Roles and Responsibilities Volunteers' Testimonials

* To all potential volunteers interested to help us - please kindly fill in
the volunteer application form provided, save a copy and email to
volunteer@ccf.org.sg. Thank you!

Recruitment
Process
In addition to providing an overview of CCF at our recruitment exercise, we also interview those who express more than a passing interest with volunteering in our organisation following the overview. Typically, the overview takes about half an hour. The interview, however, depends on the number of interested individuals. Each interview takes about fifteen minutes.

After the interview, we typically arrange an Orientation and invite suitable individuals to attend this Orientation. The Orientation provides potential CCF volunteers with some basic skills and knowledge useful for volunteering roles within our organisation. An Orientation typically takes about three hours.

Training
After attending an Orientation, training is provided for recruited volunteers to prepare or to further develop such volunteers in their volunteering roles.

Training is conducted throughout the year and training topics vary depending on: "The Art of Playing", "Effective Communication with Children" and "Motivating Children in their Learning."

If you have not heard from us.
Our normal procedure is to send out an introductory mailer to interested individuals within a month after receiving a volunteering enquiry. We apologise if you have not heard from us for over a month and would appreciate your sending us another volunteering enquiry or a note for us to follow up.
