To create more outreach and childhood cancer
awareness in the community, HfH was also
brought to the doorsteps of 27 corporate offices,
eight schools, seven public agencies and six
grassrootsorganisations. BetweenApril andJuly
2017, a total of 2,563 individuals shaved their
heads at the 48 satellite events held islandwide.
HfH 2017 kicked off its first satellite event at
KongMengSanPhorKarkSeeMonasteryon30
April 2017. 388 like-minded individuals turnedup
at the event to make their bald statements and
they raisedmore than $190,000
for CCF.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the
monastery has come on board as a HfH
satellite partner. It has also been one of
the top three HfH satellite partners, raising
more than$800,000 for childrenwithcancer
and their families in the past five years.
Meanwhile, four other satellite partners –

Fisher Scientific – celebrated their fifth year
of participation inHfH.
