Connected Communities
Connected Communities creates opportunities for childhood cancer survivors and their families to build relationships, share experiences and develop a sense of belonging. Through shared experiences and community connections, survivors and families can connect with others at different stages of their journey, strengthen supportive relationships and contribute to a community that recognises and celebrates their experiences. The aim is to nurture a connected and supportive community where survivors and families can find mutual support, take part meaningfully and grow from being participants to active contributors within the community.
Childhood Cancer Survivors Day is CSWT’s annual signature programme for survivors and their families to celebrate and commemorate the survivorship milestone. Started in 2018, the team creates a platform every year for survivors to come together to celebrate as a community.
Connect Groups
Kids Connect organises activities for childhood cancer survivors and siblings aged 5 to 12 years old to help them reconnect and build positive relationships through meaningful shared experiences.
Youth Connect brings together youth survivors and siblings aged 13 to 35 through regular gatherings that foster connection and meaningful relationships with one another.
Parents Connect is a social platform for Parents of Survivors to network with other Parents of Survivors and extend their social support.
Wellness Programmes
Get Active Programmes
Provide platforms for children, youth and families to explore a variety of physical activities, learn about physical wellness and discover activities they enjoy, encouraging them to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.
Train with Trainer Programme
Curated individual or group sessions with physical fitness trainer support youth survivors aged 13 to 35 in achieving their fitness goals and improving physical conditioning. Individual sessions are tailored to each survivor’s needs and conducted in a members-only gym equipped with interactive cardio machines and pneumatic gym equipment to support a safe workout experience.
Caregiver Massage
Recognising that caregiving often leads to fatigue, our massage sessions aim to provide a space for caregivers to rest and rejuvenate.
The Greater Good Programme
The Greater Good Programme (TGG)
Provides opportunities for childhood cancer survivors, siblings and caregivers to give back to the CCF community through meaningful volunteering. Participants can contribute their strengths, skills and lived experiences while supporting and inspiring others in the community.
