Community Social Work Team

CCF’s Community Social Work Team (CSWT) was established in 2009 to support the increasing number of children and youths surviving cancer, along with their families, in matters related to post-treatment and survivorship. The team is dedicated to delivering CCF’s core services, including Casework and Counselling, Therapeutic Play Services, and Financial Assistance. Additionally, various relevant programs are offered to address the diverse needs of survivors and families. Through these comprehensive programmes and services, CSWT ensures continuous care, fostering holistic development, and enhancing the overall quality of life for survivors and their families.

Educational Support

Programmes and services to support the schooling needs of children with cancer and promote better school adjustment for those who are preparing to or have returned to school.

Developmental Support

Programmes and services aim to address the multi-faceted psych-emotional challenges faced by our childhood cancer survivors and their families during their survivorship journey

Social Support

Programmes and services for childhood cancer survivors and their families to build their social capital by developing their social networks, increasing social support and access to information and resources

Wellness Support

Programmes and services to mitigate physical impacts and enhance the physical well-being of childhood cancer survivors

Employment Support

Programmes and services to enhance employment fit, employment opportunity and sustainability of childhood cancer survivors
