CCF’s Community Social Work Team (CSWT) was established in 2009 to support the increasing number of children and youths surviving cancer, along with their families, in matters related to post-treatment and survivorship. The team is dedicated to delivering CCF’s core services, including Casework and Counselling, Therapeutic Play Services, and Financial Assistance. Additionally, various relevant programs are offered to address the diverse needs of survivors and families. Through these comprehensive programmes and services, CSWT ensures continuous care, fostering holistic development, and enhancing the overall quality of life for survivors and their families.

Core Programmes
In commemorating survivorship as an achievement and testament to resilience, CSWT’s core programmes aim to encourage survivors to embrace life beyond adversity.
Childhood Cancer Survivors Day is CSWT’s annual signature programme for survivors and their families to celebrate and commemorate the survivorship milestone. Started in 2018, the team creates a platform every year for survivors to come together to celebrate as a community.
CCF Education Awards is an annual awards ceremony that serves as encouragement to childhood cancer survivors for their efforts towards academic achievement. It aims to promote resilience in their coping upon their return to school and sustain their motivation towards their academic learning.
Employment Support
CCF provides a range of programmes and services to support youth survivors as they enter the workforce.
Heartwork Programme is a customised foundational skills training programme to develop/enhance skills based on the strength of the youth survivors, to increase their employability.
Employment related workshops are organised for sharing information and resources for employment profession and/or career progression.
Survivors’ Fund
The Survivors’ Fund consists of various opportunities for childhood cancer survivors to maximise potential or personal development and empowerment through the continuation of learning.
The Education Dream Fund offers survivors with scholarship support in pursuit of their first local diploma or degree study.
The Opportunity Fund offers survivors with opportunities to with opportunities to improve self- competency, and/or develop their areas of interests.
Social Groups
KidsConnect organises activities for childhood cancer survivors and siblings aged 5 to 12 years old to help them reconnect and build positive relationships through meaningful shared experiences.
YouthConnect brings together youth survivors and siblings aged 13 to 35 through regular gatherings that foster connection and meaningful relationships with one another.
Parents Connect is a social platform for Parents of Survivors to network with other Parents of Survivors and extend their social support.
Facilities
CCF Hangouts provides a safe space open to youth survivors and siblings aged 13 to 35 for regular social engagement, bonding and learning.
CCF Wellness Studio is a members-only gym for youth survivors aged 13 to 35, equipped with interactive cardio machines and pneumatic gym equipment to provide a safe workout experience.
