SAESLFamilyDay
Singapore Aero Engine Services Pte Ltd (SAESL) held our Family Day on 16 January 2016. We
included a charity event in the programme called ‘Charity Dunking’ which saw employees dousing
12 senior management staff in a large barrel of water to raise funds! The organising committee
chose CCF because we wanted to do our part for the society and to express our support to the
brave childrenwho are battling the life-threatening illness. We received overwhelming support from
employees in selectingCCF as their preferred beneficiary.
To encourage participation for the charity dunk, SAESL
offered to double the donation raised by the highest
fundraiser. The company also did a dollar-for-dollar
matching for donations made by employees, bringing the
total amount raised for CCF to $7,160!
We are thankful to everyone who contributed to the good
cause and may our little contribution make a difference to
the lives of the young beneficiaries at CCF.

Jabil SingaporeShaves for Cancer
In 2015, Jabil Singapore adopted CCF as their charity for
the year. Jabil Singapore believes that everyone has the

on a year-long list of fun and engaging events to raise
childhood cancer awareness and funds for CCF.
At the launchevent, Jabil Singapore invitedCCF toconduct
a series of public education talks for our employees. The
talk gave us more insights on CCF’s programmes and
services, and its utilisation of funds. Next was the fun-filled
Jabil Carnival Day held on 23May 2016wherewe enlisted
the help of family members and friends to set up game
stalls and food booths. Fundswere raised through the sale
of coupon booklets for carnival revellers to buy food and
play games at the carnival!
Throughout the year, Jabil Singapore was also a CCF
Donation Box Programme (DBPP) Partner. We held
monthly donation drives to encourage staff to donate
their loose change and sold CCF merchandise. We also
organised our very ownHair for Hope satellite event at our
office. More than 40 employees volunteered to shave their
heads to tell children with cancer that it is OK to be bald!
Needless to say, fellow colleagues roared with cheer at
their bravery, especially when the female staff stepped up
to shave their heads!
The final event of theyear sawemployees fromJabil run for

a difference. The Jabil Cares Organising Committee
